Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice US Vietnam War Combat Vehicle Crewman (CVC) Helmet model T56-6. These Helmets were worn by crewmen aboard Tanks and other Combat Vehicles. The Helmet comes complete with headphones built in and adjustable microphone, which are attached to the correct ISC Telephonics Model SA-1552/G Transceiver mounted on the left side of the helmet.
The front of the helmet is named to 1 L T / JOERG, while the side is marked T. C. / B - 11, which is probably the unit number, or possibly the designation of the combat vehicle. We were not able to find any information about this officer, which could be an excellent research opportunity.
The helmet is in good shape, with an intact ballistic nylon main body correctly painted OD Green. The helmet is a bit dirty, especially on the inside. Also the foam rubber behind the earphones has become hard brittle.
