Original item: Only One Available. The HGU25P helmet was developed specifically for the flight decks of all US aircraft carriers, this unique bump helmet provides impact protection while using hearing protectors or noise-attenuating headsets in one of the most hostile environments on earth.
The HGU-25/P Flight Deck Helmet has three components:
- A Suspension Liner
- A front and a back shell assembly
- Energy-Absorbing impact pads
- Aural Sound Protector
This example is offered in very good condition. it is stenciled on the reverse KOEHLER
The helmet has the original maker data label indicating that it was manufactured under government contract by Clark. Also included are a pair of Dust, wind and sun goggles.
