Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely Rifle Green Beret once worn by a 30 year member of the Special Forces Association. The Special Forces Association Serves as the Voice for the Special Forces Community; Perpetuates Special Forces Traditions and Brotherhood; Advances the Public Image of Special Forces and Promotes the General Welfare of the Special Forces Community.
This example is in wonderful condition and still retains faded markings on the top lining we can clearly make out 1982 and the size 7 with BERET GREEN beneath it. There is no extensive damage present and the only real “issue” would be the hard to read markings. The flash is a handmade example and is oversized to be able to fit the SFA crest/logo. The crest is the standard “De Oppresso Liber” with an added 3 X 0 at the top for 30 years. There is a single silver star in the middle meaning this was most likely worn by a Brigadier General. The pin is not firmly attached to the beret and would need the frog clips or similar to hold it in place. The back of the pin is marked with Phillips Publications P-66, an early manufacturer of these crests.
Comes more than ready for further research and display.
