The American Tomahawk Company is a United States-based organization that produces modern tomahawks specifically designed for use by the US Military. The company was first established in 1966 by Peter LaGana, with the aim of creating tomahawks for the Vietnam War. Unfortunately, it folded in the 1970s. However, ATC was revived in March 2019 by RMJ Tactical, with the objective of producing tomahawks for a wide range of outdoor activities and to continue the rich military history. The Model 1 Tomahawk is the updated version of the famous VTAC. The original Vietnam Tomahawk design featured a wood handle, an axe head with reverse spike and a leather sheath. LaGana produced around 4,000 Tomahawks which were used by soldiers and marines in the Southeast Asian jungles.
This is an excellent opportunity to add this beautiful tool to your collection!
