Original Item: Only One Available. When one thinks of the Vietnam war, many things will come to mind, one of which is the typical Black Beret, used by "Advisors" and Special Forces. U.S. involvement lasted nearly 20 years, and large scale direct involvement lasted at least 10, so local Vietnamese companies began to produce many items used in the conflict, including this very nice black beret.
It is well made, with the typical felt outside, with a vinyl edge and size adjustment strip. The inside is lined on the sides with OD green canvas, while the top is lined with black rayon or nylon. There is a plastic crown diamond, which has a size 54 sticker under it. The front right of the cap which would hold a badge or beret flash has a red arc marked VIET-NAM on it.
