Original Items: Only One Set Available. Consists of original WWI Issue .45 M1916 Pattern Holster, Web Double Magazine pouch, and two original WW1 issue magazines. All items are manufacturer marked from the period, making this a perfect edition to any WW1 Colt 1911.
The original WWI .45 M-1916 leather holster is embossed U.S., and faintly stamped on reverse:
1917
indicating manufacture by Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois, 1917. Holster is in good used condition, with a beautiful brown color, all stitching intact after 100 years.
The WW1 issue double magazine pouch was manufactured by P.B. & CO. in September of 1918. The back is marked N.J. REDPATH 0-01703383, which is a marking we were not able to identify. Condition is close to unissued, and finish on the metal components is excellent.
The two magazines are 7-rounds and original U.S. Military contract manufacture. Both bear an R on the top of the magazine toe, the mark for Risdon Tool & Machine Co. of Naugatuck, Conn., and are in excellent condition, with some insertion wear.
This is a totally genuine US Military issue set offered in very good condition.
