Original Items: Only One Set Available. A really nice set from a member of the U.S. Army during the great was as part of the Allied Expeditionary Force sent overseas to fight the Germans. This set includes the following pieces:

- Original U.S. WWI M1917 Doughboy Helmet with Original Camouflage Textured Paint. The shell is maker marked with the stamping on the underside of the rim HS 101. This stamp is a known British manufacture mark, for Hadfield Steel Foundry in Sheffield, who developed the steel used in these helmets. This helmet is definitely one of the 400,000 supplied, to the U.S., and it also has the correct split pin attachment for the chin strap bales. It does not have a liner or chinstrap. The Camouflage Textured Paint is original WW1 applied.

- Original WAR OF 1917 U.S. ARMY banner that measures 18" squared on a diamond pattern Multi-piece felt construction.

- 2 x Original U.S. Army issue wool overseas garrison caps with brass AEF badges.

- Original Brass decorative framed photo of a U.S. solider from the Great War. The photo is a modern re-print, the frame is circa 1918.

- Original leather U.S. embossed ammunition box.

- Original leather .45 1911 ACP leach double magazine pouch.

- Original U.S. WWI Mess Kit - Dated 1917 and marked on the underside to the 3rd Aero Squadron

- Original wartime pin collection

- Various other medals, mementos and things.
