This is an exceptionally rare excellent complete example of a model 1912 experimental entrenching shovel with a removable shovel head on the 1912 picket pin farrier hammer. This rare entrenching tool also comes with a very nice BEAKER 1917 marked M1905 shovel cover. Additionally the picket pin farrier hammer has an ultra rare original leather carrier that is complete with both straps (lower buckle is missing) and carry hang ring. All components of this entrenching tool are offered in excellent condition. We've only ever seen a few examples of the 1912 experimental shovel and this is by far the best most complete one.
