Original Item: Only One Available. This very nice flare pistol was made by the Remington Arms Company at their plate in Bridgeport Connecticut, between 1915 and 1918. This takes a 10 gauge flare in a 9" steel barrel designated the"MARK III" and so marked with all the manufacturer's information:

REMINGTON BRIDGEPORT WORKS – BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT, U.S.A
The frame is of brass and retains a wonderful mottled patinas and the pistol comes with the original wood grips. Grips, frame, and barrel all bear serial number 10. This design features a "spur" trigger, and a "top break" loading system, typical of most flare pistols. Measures 12 1/2 inches overall, with a 9 inch barrel.
Unusual and hard to find, but still very attractive. Ready to display.
