Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a great U.S. WWI Victory medal in its original box named on the front to Adolph M. Hanson. The medal has one clasp for “France” indicating he saw service in France but did not see combat in any major campaigns.
The medal is in good shape overall and the box is in good condition minus the corners splitting. The box contains the original card indicating the France clasp. This set is likely for Private Adolph M. Hanson, Headquarters Company, 48th Coastal Artillery Corps, which went overseas in October 1918. He was from Bay City, Wisconsin. A great research project.
