Original Items: Only One Set of 3 Available. This is a beautiful set of 3 lighters, one of which being a 14k Gold Plated Marine Corps lighter! All 3 show signs of definite use, and with a little elbow grease, fluid and new flints, they would be operational again!
The 14k Gold Plated lighter is by Florentine and features a lovely Eagle, Globe and Anchor on the face of it. Judging by the wear to the insignia, as well as the plating, this was a lighter that was cherished and often carried by the Marine who owned it. The lighter still flips open, has a solid wick and the flint still sparks.
The zippo style lighter was one that was definitely used and carried for many years. The lighter insert bears the name PARK on the wind blocker on the insert, The wheel still turns and a wick is present, however there is no flint present.
The trench style lighter has quite a bit of surface rust present on it and the wick cover is frozen in place, but with some cleaning and lubrication, it will move freely again. The front and back has a lovely Distinctive Unit Insignia engraved on it, but we have not been able to identify as to what unit, it appears to possibly be artillery.
This is a beautiful set of lighters that comes more than ready for research and display!
