Original Item: One-of-a-kind. This is a heavily adapted Model 1918 Mark I Trench Knife which was reconfigured to be both a knuckle duster and a push knife. it was theatre made and used by an Airborne trooper during WWII. The soldier's name was Private First Class Ray W. Wilson. We had a grouping of his in 2016 and through that connection we were able to source a few more pieces including this incredible custom knife. The knife is not named in anyway, so all we have to go on is what the seller told us. However, this style of knife was popular with paratroopers who desired a close combat weapon which was light weight and silent. Sheath is basic and in good condition, it does not appear to be as old as the knife so most likely a post war replacement but it could also be wartime.
Measures 8" in overall length, with a 5 /12 inch long blade and a 4 inch wide knuckle guard.
