Original Item: One-of-a-kind. This Knuckle Knife is a period custom made piece constructed of a cast aluminum grip with a polished steel Bowie-style blade. The knife also comes with its original leather scabbard. This knife comes from the collection of renown World War Two knife collector and author Greg Aloisio.
The grip is cast aluminum, and is made to mimic the same general pattern as the WWI M-1918 Mark I Trench Knife by LF&C. The GI who originally owned this knife scratched his name “Lloyd V. Phelps” and a service number into the handle. The owner could quite possibly be researched if one so desired.
The knife itself measures 12" overall with a 7 5/8" blade and a 4 3/8" grip. The blade appears to have never had additional sharpening done to it, and is in very nice condition. Overall, a very nice example of a one-off GI fighting knife, which have become harder to find in recent years.

Transaction was flawless, terms were exactly as described .... but the crowning event was the OUTSTANDING AND PROMPT support of the customer care woman! I got her on the phone instantly, and she responded to my request on the spot! Very rare these days, highly trust inducing!
