Original Item: Only One Available. This is a United States Army produced size 38L Camouflage HBT Coverall Fatigue Uniform set in “Frogskin” pattern camouflage. This reversible one piece coverall was designed for combat in jungle/tropical conditions. It features 13 star metal buttons on the cuffs and large cargo pockets flaps which are held down by stout brass friction snaps. While developed by the Army, these coveralls are best known for use by the Marines in the Pacific Theater during WW2.
Overall condition is very good with signs of little wear. Fully functional CONMAR zipper, and functional unmarked snaps. These are always hard to find as most were well used and discarded. Originally fitted with internal suspenders, which proved impractical, they were usually discarded but are present in this example.
A great set that comes more than ready for further research and display.
