Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is an excellent condition genuine U.S. World War Two military issue M2 tripod with original U.S. military issue T&E and original U.S. military issued covers.
The tripod has its original brass data plate that reads:
NO. 11262 R.Z.C.

The top head of the tripod is stamped C 59336 / E.P. and is marked in multiple other locations. Features brass cuff for pintel and fully functional legs, cross bar and welded feet. It is complete, functional and in excellent condition.
The Traverse and Elevation “T&E” mechanism is used to engage preselected target areas at night or during degraded light conditions, facilitating accurate fire. When needed, the gunner can quick release the T&E and “free gun” the machine gun, giving the gunner freedom of movement as opposed to fixed movement to engage the targets. This T&E is marked in various locations and has the serial number 11010037.
The first cover is marked as for the M2 Tripod Mount. The drawstring is still present and the cover is without damage and still has clear beautiful markings. The front flap is marked:

The pouch face has the marker information:

The M13 canvas cover is marked "COVER GUN M13 / D31749”. These covers were used to protect the M1919 while it was stationary or being moved. The leather cup piece on the side is used to house the pintle so it doesn’t damage the canvas. The cover has definitely been used. There is no significant damage that can be found but there are however two slits in the cover, they appear to have been intentionally put there.
This is perfect for registered full auto Browning M1919 machine guns or semi-auto conversions. These rarely come to market anymore and almost never in this excellent condition.
