Original Item: Only One Available. This is a fantastic 1945 USMC enlistment poster which features a painting by Marine Master Sergeant Vic Donahue. The poster reads:

CAPE GLOUCESTER
Driving towards Tokyo, the 1st Marine Division landed at Cape Gloucester, New Britain Island, on Dec. 26, 1943. Tank - led Leathernecks captured the main prize -- the airdrome -- in five days. Talasea, last major objective fell March 9th, and the Marines marched on!
