Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. The G-1 parapack was the primary aerial delivery parachute during WWII and Korea. Standardized in December 1942, it mated with all styles of cargo containers including the A-4 and A-5, seeing extensive use in all major airborne and resupply operations. The pack encapsulated the 24’ rayon canopy and facilitated loads up to 300 pounds.
The pack is in wonderful condition though it does not have any visible identification markings present. There is no extensive damage present and the canopy was replaced by linens to give it a “fuller” appearance to simulate having a canopy.
Comes ready for further research and display.
