Original Item: One-of-a-kind. This is a fantastic wood constructed Solomon Islands War Club with the word Guadalcanal written on the handle. This is a tradition Subi Club in the classic paddle-shape originating from the Solomon Islands. It measures 20 inches in overall length and is 4 inches at the widest point. Bears lots of ceremonial and decorative carving designs. Overall a really fantastic USGI bring back from the first major offensive of the War in the Pacific.

The Guadalcanal Campaign, also known as the Battle of Guadalcanal and codenamed Operation Watchtower by American forces, was a military campaign fought between 7 August 1942 and 9 February 1943 on and around the island of Guadalcanal in the Pacific theater of World War II. It was the first major offensive by Allied forces against the Empire of Japan.
