Original Items: Only One Set Available. Recently acquired at a military show, this is a very nice field gear set, made up of mostly WWII issue items, with some Korean War issue. There was a huge surplus of field gear after WWII, so many of the soldiers who fought during the Korean War were outfitted with WWII Production field gear. Korean War era gear was mixed in as needed. This lovely set is made up of the following items:
- Original WWII issue M1916 leather holster for the Colt 1911 by TEX TAN (Texas Tannery Co.) and dated 1944.
- Original WWII issue M1936 pistol belt faintly stamped U.S..
- Original Korean War issue M1 Carbine double magazine web pouch with maker markings dated 1952.
- Original WWII issue first aid web pouch dated 1944.
- Original WWII Canteen Carrier dated 1942 with Post War Aluminum Canteen.
All of these items are in good service used condition, with a great patina of age. Ready to display!
