Original Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent condition example of a WWII Issue Carry Case for the M1 Carbine, officially known as the "United States Carbine, Caliber .30, M1." This case was intended for transporting the rifle easily when in non-combat areas, keeping it free from dirt and wear.
This example is maker marked under the top flap: SHANE MFG. CO. / 1944. This example is made of OD Green #7 Canvas, which has just a bit of wear around the edges. This is darker, more "green" type of OD green, as typical of later ware produced items. The case is overall very good, with with an intact shoulder strap, working zipper, and no rips or tears in the fabric. Definitely excellent condition for any age.
