Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. Original WWII inert M6A3C rocket for the U.S. WWII 2.36 inch M1 / M1A1Bazooka. The 2.36" rocket consists of a head, a stabilizer tube, and tail. The head of the practice rocket is totally inert and complies with standards outlined by ATF.
The inert rocket measures approximately 22 inches long and has been painted flat black to look more realistic. SIMCO markings can still be seen on two parts of the stabilizer tube, as well as on the tail assembly.
The M6A1 was the second projectile designed for the M1 and M1A1 bazooka family. The original M6 was notoriously unreliable, both with the launch and detonation. The M6A1 had improved fuze and ignition designs to help get rid of this problem. The rocket was eventually replaced with the round headed M6A3, which had a blunt head, which was intended to help prevent deflection off of armor.
