Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice WWII United States Marine Corps Eagle Globe Anchor Insignia "Sweetheart" Pin marked USM on the front, with a horizontal pinback. It is marked on the back with STERLING, indicating it is made from Sterling Silver, and it has a maker mark on the back of the "Anchor". The front of the globe is marked U S M, for U.S. Marines. These were given to the sweethearts of soldiers when going overseas, as a way of keeping them in mind when they were off fighting in the war.
Measures approximately 1 3/4"W x 1 7/16"H, and is in very good condition.
