Original Item: Only One Available. This is a hard to find World War Two United States Marine Corps Officer Blue Wool Visor Cap manufactured by Julius Horowitt. This hat was called as THE NEW YORKER by Horowitt and is named as such on the internal label. It features a wicker framed construction with officer gilt chinstrap and bullion embroidered oak leak designs on top of the visor. The peak of the hat features a USMC Officer's EGA (Eagle Globe Anchor) screw back insignia hat badge from the WW2 era. Crown of cap features decorative quatrefoil. Inside features a leather sweatband. Hat is approximately a size 7 3/8 US. Overall condition is very good to excellent.
