Original Item: Only One Available. This very USN WWII uniform jumper is featured on page 275-275 in the book U. S. Naval Aviation Flying Clothing and Gear, U. S. Navy Uniforms in World War II Series Volume 2 by Jeff Warner.
A tailor made dress blue uniform of an Aviation Ordnance man first class. Note also the turned back "liberty cuffs" with dragon motifs. Aviation Ordnanceman rating badge shows non-regulation silver bullion specialty mark and eagle. Rating badges with bullion embroidery were only authorized for chief petty officers. The Air Gunner distinguishing mark on this uniform is also made of silver bullion. (J. Warner)
