Original Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent condition World War II US Navy Type A Portable Multipurpose Signal Light manufactured by the Portable Lamp & Equipment Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The data plate on the box reads:

These lights were used by USN personnel on landing crews or in small boats to signal nearby ships. The set is in excellent condition, but is likely not in working order. Included with the light assembly are additional extension cords, remote trigger, straps, switches, and several other spare parts and the original manual which provides instructions for use and a part diagram.
The metal carry case measures 14x10x9 and features the original data plate. A great example, ready for further research and display.
