Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice WWII Issue "Packing box M1917" ammunition crate with a steel liner for Small Arms .30-06 cartridges in cartons, as used by most of the long rifles and machine guns fielded by the U.S. during WWII. This example is rough but contains 3 of its original bandoleers and around 15 original “projectiles”, the tip of a cartridge which has fallen out of the cartridge. The bottom of the crate still bears the original stenciled packing information:

The crate measures approximately 16 x 8 x 15” and is in good shape overall but is heavily worn from storage. The three bandoleers are in good shape and one is a great earlier 1898 example. A great WWII ammunition can great for display in any collection. Ready to add to your collection and display!
