A center stick, or simply control stick is an aircraft cockpit arrangement where the control column (or joystick) is located in the center of the cockpit either between the pilot's legs or between the pilots' positions. Since the throttle controls are typically located to the left of the pilot, the right hand is used for the stick, although left-hand or both-hands operation is possible if required.
This center B-5 stick/control stick is for the North American P-51 Mustang and is in wonderful, well used condition. It is constructed out of black plastic with checkered sides to allow a better grip. Both the trigger and button appear to “function” though we cannot guarantee that this is an operational item ready to hardwire into your P-51. There are some nicks and dents present as well as what appears to be teeth marks, possibly from a dog.
