This chaplain kit was originally designed for use by Catholic or liturgical Protestant chaplains and consists of a variety of items that are essential for conducting religious services in a mobile setting. The most notable item in the kit is a reversible cross, which features the corpus on one side and the "IHS" symbol on the other. This cross is a vital component of the kit, as it allows the chaplain to conduct services for both Catholic and Protestant congregations.
In addition to the reversible cross, the kit also includes several other items that are essential for conducting religious services.
