Item Description
Original items: One-of-a-kind set. This grouping belonged to FLOYD H. EVANS who was assigned to the 13th Marine Regiment, 5th Brigade during Wold War One. The 13th Marines was formed on July 3, 1916, as an infantry regiment. It embarked for France in 1918 and served in Brest until it was deactivated on September 1, 1919. Included in this set are the following items:
- Original ultra rare 13th Marine Regiment, 5th Brigade Shoulder Patch constructed of felt with an embroidered V.
- Original for tag that reads; FLOYD H. EVANS U.S.M.C 7.2.19 and on the reverse 4610450
- Original WWI overseas garrison cape with black brass EGA and 13 F.
- Original Marine Good Conduct Medal with rim No. 49994.
- Original WWI Victory Medal with France bar and cross.
- Original EGA Collar tabs
- Original Sharpshooter badge
