Original USSR Soviet-Afghan War Era VOG-25P HE Bouncing Grenade for GP-25 Launcher used with AK-47

Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a great inert example of a hard to find Soviet grenade, a VOG-25P High Explosive Bouncing grenade, as used with the GP-25 series of under barrel grenade launchers. The first of this series, the GP-25, was designed to mount on the underside of the legendary AK-47 assault rifle. Introduced in the late 1970s, they saw use during the Soviet-Afghan war.

Unloaded or dummy grenades, artillery shell casings, and similar devices, which are cut or drilled in an BATF-approved manner so that they cannot be used as ammunition components for destructive devices, are not considered NFA weapons. This example is in total compliance and is NOT AVAILABLE FOR EXPORT.

This example appears to retain all components apart from the explosive content. It can be fully disassembled for inspection. The grenade shows a bit of light oxidation on the exterior, but is otherwise in excellent condition. Ready to add to your collection and display!

The VOG-25P (Vystrel Oskolochnyy Granatomotny - Shot fragmentation grenade launcher 25P) is a bouncing fragmentation grenade, originally introduced in 1979 for use with the GP-25 grenade launcher. On impact, a small charge in the nose of the grenade is detonated; this raises the grenade 0.5 to 1.5 m in the air, before an impact delay fuse detonates it. The VOG-25P also has a lethal radius of six meters.
