Item Description

Original Item: Only One Available. In really nice condition, this is a Victorian era .22 short rimfire caliber single shot Target Pistol, with a very nice checkered walnut grip. The barrel and frame bear German proof marks on the right side of the chamber, and the left side is marked with information on the pistols specifications:

These were often used for indoor shooting, a rage which swept Europe in the late 19th Century. Trigger guard has an extra finger spur on the bottom for a second finger to help stabilize the pistol. This pistol also has an open breech, with lever extractor. These were designed for very small powder loads, as they were usually used indoors.
