During the Second Sino-Japanese War, the Chinese designed and produced a grenade based on the German Model 1924 which was used by the National Revolutionary Army. Following WWII, the People's Liberation Army standardized a grenade variant known as "Type 67." During the Vietnam War, it became the standard grenade for the PLA and was also supplied in large quantities to the Viet Cong and the People's Army of Vietnam.
A standard of the Vietnam War, this is the typical pattern of NVA / VC long-handle smooth body stick grenade. Despite having EOD inert holes in the grenade body, the grenade is in fine to excellent condition, with both the body and stick very clean. The body is attached to the stick with nails, and the stick retains the wooden plug. Measures 8 3/4 inches in overall length.
