Item Description
Original Item: These are Original WWII era packs of PLAYERS NAVY CUT of 10 cigarettes each. Discovered in Belgium by a family whose grandmother was known to have enthusiastically welcomed the liberating British Tommies after D-Day. Apparently she was so generous with her displays of gratitude that, since the Tommies were always broke they bestowed on her the only commodity of value they possessed, the WWII international currency; cigarettes.
Presumably this lady must have been a non-smoker for she lovingly cherished these remembrances of wonderful moments until her death and their discovery by her grandchildren. Well it makes a good yarn; nevertheless these Military marked packs of smokes are exceptionally rare. And after nearly sixty years are NOT FOR CONSUMPTION!
