Original Item: Only One Available. We had these available for years, but now they have become very hard to come by! Constructed from an original parts set and built on a machined BATF approved aluminum dummy receiver, this is a rare early example of the Italian Beretta MP38A submachine gun, as used during WWII. It still retains an original live barrel with a great bore attached to the original magazine well. This makes a perfect display piece of an exceptionally hard to find WWII Sub-Machine Gun.
Though Italian manufactured by Beretta, these fantastic SMGs were used in great numbers by the German Wehrmacht throughout WWII. This examples still retains the original bayonet lug and slot in the stock for the rare folding bayonet, which also indicates that it is a very early production example. It also has an intact front barrel band and sling swivel, which are often missing. This example even comes complete with an original Beretta MP38A 20 Round magazine (deactivated where required), another thing that we almost never see! It is marked CLP on the back, and is in great shape.
Both trigger still pull, though they are a bit stiff, and can require being pushed forward at times. The safety mechanism still works correctly as well. Attached to the display SMG is a very nice post war canvas sling, with spring hooks at either end.
