Original Item: Only One Available. The "Bustina" field cap was originally introduced in 1933 and was worn by both Army and Fascist militia personnel, with minor variations.
This green wool field cap features fold down side panels are held to the crown of the cap by a corresponding hidden snap. The front visor is in the upright position. To the front is a very fine embroidered gold bullion on crimson background 77th Infantry cap insignia. Also, on the left side is embroidered gold bullion on crimson background rank badge of three stars denoting the rank of generale di corpo d’armata (tenente generale).
The interior is fully lined in a light green rayon/silk with ink maker marking stamps and Royal Italian Eagle.
