ORIGINAL ITEM: PRICE REDUCTION. SCARCE U.S. M19 Ammunition Box. This steel box has some features of the scarce M1A1 steel box and some features of the familiar M19A1 box. It has smooth sides, like the M19, and a similar hinge for the lid, but it has the narrow latch of the M1 and M1A1. See Dolf Goldsmith, The Browning Machine Gun, Vol. III, page 214.
