Original Item: From our 2003 Nepal Cache find. This spring for the P-1864 Snider is held inside the breech block, and retracts the striker / firing pin once the lock hammer is pulled back.

The description was correct though the spring was dirty and bent a bit. Nothing too much to worry about. It unfortunately was the wrong spring for what I needed. Not the company's fault. Shipping was very reasonable.

The item arrived very quickly, was in very good shape, I cleaned some old grease off of it, put some new grease on it and it is good to go. Very happy with this purchase.
