New Made Item: This is a SUPERB two piece resin reproduction of the very first grenade produced in mass numbers by the United States; the WWI US Mk. I pineapple hand fragmentation grenade. The originals were produced from August 1917 to July 1918 making them very expensive and very hard to find.
It might be resin but it feels and looks like metal! Amazing. Cast from a silicon mold of an original de-milled WW1 grenade to exacting precision, it has all the detail of the original. One-piece body, correct fuse top, and steel pull pin with ring! Also, for added authenticity it has WWI Designation B impressed on one side.
This Excellent alternative to carrying an expensive original into the field, or add it to your WW2 collection as valued display piece. Color is grey resin and finished with a coating of graphite to provide that authentic metal sheen. The naked eye won't be able to tell the difference.
Totally inert and cannot be converted to an explosive device.
