New Made Item: Manufactured over 15 years ago, we found of box of these in our warehouse. We never brought these to market because the originally were to serve as the base of our Winchester M-1897 trench gun shroud. However, this15 inch barrel shroud for use on pump-action shotguns differs from the trench shotgun that featured a ventilated metal hand guard with a bayonet attachment lug. This ventilated hand guard or heat shield (without bayonet lug) was also used on police riot shotguns and shotguns marketed for civilian self-defense. The heat shield protects the user from being burned by a hot barrel and can also serve as an attachment base for accessories such as sights or sling swivels, it also can make an ordinary shot gun look the business. New made and never used, but will show a bit of storage wear. Fitting will be required depending upon shotgun type.
