Item Description
Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very lovely WWI bugle manufactured by George Potter & Co. of Aldershot, with the company crest affixed to the top. The bugle is in fair shape and has an original red, blue, and gold tasseled cord attached, which were utilized by Royal regiments according to the Great Wat Forums.
The cord is in great shape with some loss of material to the knots. These cords are incredibly difficult to find on their own. The body of the bugle has some heavy denting as shown which is expected for a bugle of this age. The mouthpiece is still attached and held to the bugle by a brass chain, however it appears seized in the hole and will not come out.
A very lovely display piece from the First World War, a true sleeper. The patina is unbeatable! Ready for further research and display.
