Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This German Military bugle is of all brass construction with nickel silver fittings, typical of German brass instruments. Showing use it bears numerous small dents with some scrapes, but is absolutely authentic. It comes complete with its original mouthpiece (removable) and two suspension rings and with a very pleasant tarnished finish overall.
The German Silver bell krantz is in good condition, as it is a harder alloy than brass, and so it would not be dented as easily.
There is a maker’s mark on the end, reading A. K. Hüttl Graslitz. This was a known maker of brass instruments during the WWI period.
This bugle is one of the better examples we have seen, but there is still heavy denting in the tube, so it would likely not play right. The mouthpiece is connected by a chain as to not be lost.
