Item Description
Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is a very nice collection of German WWII Insignia and Awards, which was brought back from the European theater by a USGI after the war was concluded. Many solders traded these on the way back, and would end up with a pocket full of various different collectible items, and this set represents the typical "haul" one might have come back with.
The grouping includes a badge from the Nationalsozialistische Frauenschaft (National Socialist Women’s-organization), which is a triangle shape with NAT. SOZ. FRAUENSCHAFT at the top, and letters G, H, and L surrounding the Swas for “GLAUBE, HOFFNUNG, LIEBE” (“FAITH, HOPE, LOVE”). This badge is maker marked on the back, along with issue information.
Additional items that we were able to identify:
- An NSLB National Socialist Teachers League badge, maker marked on the back.
- An RDK Large German Families membership badge, maker marked on the back.
- A DSB League of German Homeowners membership badge, maker marked on the back.
- A DRK German Red Cross Collar Pin, maker marked on the back.
- A small DLV Aviation Association pin, maker marked on the back.
- An RKB Reich Colonial League pin.
The last item is an oval clear plastic pin, which looks to be marked VDH or something similar, with wheat and flowers shown as well. We were unfortunately not able to identify this pin.
